Led light reflector material12/11/2023 ![]() ![]() Heat ManagementĪrguably, heat management is one of the most important factors in extending the life expectancy of an LED light. If you check out Azoogi’s outdoor lighting all our LEDs have a die cast aluminium body to protect against tea staining and corrosion. This makes it ideal for lighting near coastal areas as it becomes resistant to chemicals such as sulfur and chlorides, while being electronically insulating. When exposed to air, aluminium naturally generates a protective oxide coating that is highly corrosion resistant. The lower the temperature, the more aluminium’s strength increases, making it ideal for our outdoor and industrial lights. Additionally, unlike most steel grades, aluminium does well in cold environments. While aluminium is relatively easy to manipulate, don’t think that for one second it isn’t a sturdy material! Once we add alloys, aluminium provides great structural support a strength to weight ratio that is superior to steel. With rising manufacturing costs, this is definitely an added benefit. This means products of aluminium can be formed close to the end of the design process, streamlining high-volume production. MalleableĪluminium is also very malleable. This makes it easier to transport and install, keeping the cost of our LED lights down. ![]() In other words, it’s a very lightweight metal. Here are some of the advantages aluminium has over other materials when it comes to lighting: LightweightĪluminium has a weight of 2.7 g/cm 3. That’s why we’re proud to tell you that we use only aluminum reflectors, die cast fittings and heat sinks for all our LED lights. However, at Azoogi we believe the best metal depends on the product and how it will be used. JanuIn -SHOW ALL-, About LED Why Aluminium is the Best Lighting MaterialĬopper, stainless steel, aluminium or brass?Īll of these metals can be commercially used as light fixtures, parts and materials. ![]()
